Sean Forrest Events
Reaching through to teens. Waking up adults. Breaking down the barriers our world has built up. Challenging people with the Truth of our faith. You know how tough this job is. You’re immersed in it every single day. The Lord has called you onto the battlefield. And the battle you fight is for hearts and souls.
Catholic speaker and performing artist Sean Forrest knows this war. Through Movin’ With The Spirit, Inc. (MWTS) – a ministry he launched in Connecticut in 2000 – Sean speaks and performs before nearly 30,000 people annually. Conference keynotes and talks for youth, men, women, and parents. Concerts, retreats, faith nights. Each event a new opportunity to inspire folks to dig deeper, to step up to the plate in their faith life.
Whatever the venue, God uses the gifts He gave Sean – powerful music and tell-it-like-it-is witnessing – to open hearts in His name. In addition to Sean’s many appearances at diocesan conferences across the nation, he has participated in the National Catholic Youth Conference, many Steubenville Youth Conferences each year, World Youth Day, the 80,000-person Creation Festival, New England’s Proud2BCatholic events, and SoulFest, where he headlined for an audience of 10,000. He has been a featured guest on EWTN’s popular Life on the Rock program, and was honored by the United Catholic Music and Video Association with two awards, including Best New Artist of the Year.
If your own mission is to reach out to teens, their parents, or other adults with the awesome message of Catholic Truth, then maybe we’re being called to team up for the assignment! Check out the information below to find out how. May God bless you and guide you in this battle, and may He fill your ministry with His grace.
Keynote Talks
Movin’ With The Spirit’s Sean Forrest speaks and performs at a wide range of conferences throughout the United States, from Steubenville Youth Conferences and diocesan youth days to a variety of adult events for men, women, parents and couples. His work and the entire Movin’ With The Spirit ministry are pro-life, pro-family, and true to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Youth Events
Movin’ With The Spirit had its beginnings as a youth ministry, and the focus on teens is still a major thrust of the ministry today. Sean gives keynote talks around the country, at which he uses his gifts of humor, music and straight talk to challenge teens to step up to the plate and openly live their Catholic faith in our world.
Men’s Events
Sean has witnessed at many men’s conferences in New England, and often is called to focus on the roles of men in family and the Church. So often, men need the strongest wake-up call to “get in the game” and embrace their God-given roles. Sean powerfully shares his personal experiences as a man, husband and father working to lead his family in faith.
Women’s Events
Sean reaches out to women to help them see how the secular world today is attacking womanhood and inspire them to fight this battle. He helps women appreciate their own feminine worth and dignity, and to better understand the struggles and trials of the men in their lives.
Couples’ Events
As a husband working with his wife to build a marriage founded on Catholic Truth, Sean speaks frankly about the current societal attack on marriage, distinct roles within marriage, the Pope’s Theology of the Body, and how couples can pray together and bond in faith to build marital intimacy and a foundation of faith and joy for the entire family.
Retreats
In addition to his appearances at youth and adult conferences and concerts across the country, Movin’ With The Spirit’s Sean Forrest runs nearly 100 teen retreats each year. With a goal to both educate and inspire as many people as possible to open their hearts to God’s love, Sean uses his gifts of humor, music and straight talk to help break down the barriers that the world has built up. These retreats lead the teens to know they are loved beyond measure by God and challenge them to step up to the plate to openly live their Catholic faith in our world. Sean trusts and relies on the guidance of the Holy Spirit in challenging and ministering to each unique group. The most powerful retreats typically include: Sean’s personal witness of his conversion to a life of faith, stories and discussion about our universal call to bring Christ’s love to others through our actions, and reflections on Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice through His Passion. Sean’s work and the entire Movin’ With The Spirit ministry are pro-life, profamily, and true to the teachings of the Catholic Church.

• 4 hours for first-time retreats
• 2 hours for repeat retreats to the same audience
Format:

Faith Nights
For groups looking for a powerful evening of inspiration that does not include a full retreat experience, Movin’ With The Spirit’s Sean Forrest presents a range of Faith Nights for adults and teens. Could your church use a real faith wake-up call? Do the parents feel a need to be more closely connected to what their kids are facing in the world and with their spirituality? A Faith Night may be just what you’re seeking. Sean Forrest Faith Nights are two hours in length, and aim to reach people where they are on their journeys in order to lead them to the path God is laying out for them. During the event, Sean speaks of his own faith, shares his firsthand experiences with our youth and their struggles today, tells stories, and performs several songs. His work and the entire Movin’ With The Spirit ministry are pro-life, profamily, and true to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
